Alaska hang somewhere between indie, surf, garage rock, and lurid B-movie drive-ins. We`ve picked not the lead single from their self titled EP, but the second track "Werewolf women in tow", apart from having such a beguiling title for a song, has a sharp crisp sound, piercing vocals and a undeniable feel of being an theme song to a 1950`s beat movie. You can just tell this would look and sound sumptuous as a little 7", rotating on a little Dansette player.
As for this MP3, you pay what yer like (or pay nowt if you`re hard up) for the download. But, £3.50 get`s you the E.P on a CD, with artwork and a comic strip included. Limited Edition, though.
