This picture is from British Wildlife`s night at the studio, where Elliot Smith`s hat made it`s last public appearance - we are deeply saddened by this loss, as that it wasn`t just a hat .. it was an old mate. We just hope that somewhere, a pisshead will find it and take it to pubs it`s never been before

The Afternoon Gentleman, are indeed true gentleman - the very epitome of Yorkshire civility ... until they head into the Barretts Bunker room in the far corner of the building. Then they make the most unruly of grindcore, making the smallest room of our studios the f**king loudest!! ....
The result being this, their latest single, split with Suffering mind. Perfect for the school run, I`d say. This Leeds band have toured europe and the states and are about to do another run of gigs in the UK later this year (albeit with fortnightly stops to `Park Place` - if you don`t know what I mean by that, then it`s better that you never know. Proper grim, like.)
This is available on (white) vinyl, with a poster and a download code - no cider included. Catch them at the Kraak gallery in Manchester on the 3rd July.
