`The best things in life are free` ... it`s not always the case, but in this case, it is most definitely true. Three top sonic offerings from Berlin, from a collective called Toro Camino. I have a strong liking for all things krautrock, but there`s a certain quality about these blokes that I want to share what I`ve just found today.
As an musician there`s a certain degree of appreciation of the bands technical ability that informs the reasons why I like this EP. But the songs themselves are just so killer. It`s been on the Circus stereo for awhile, and I`ve noticed a few other local bands follow them on soundcloud too. (It is puzzling why something so good as this hasn`t more followers - but then numbers on a screen shouldn`t be the name of the game)
My choice of choice are the tracks `The Green Perch` & `Gameboy vs. Steinway`, it highlights their aptitude for electronic based music and their technical abilty on traditional instruments. If you like instrumentals then you`ll get this band straight away. This was released in March 2011, what they have planned for 2012 is a mystery ..

Alternatively, you can enjoy the EP 002, as a one-shot performance. from December 2010 recorded at low swing studios, Berlin. One for the long journey home.
