Acoustic passion.
Taken from his debut album. A 22 - year old at the time of recording (he`s 23 now!) his voice, the raw delivery and the songs themselves don`t sound like it`s coming from an under 25. The album really gets into it`s stride from "El Frida" onwards, "Paint" , the following track , are a circus fave. Recorded by Marcus MacKay (Snow Patrol, Frightened Rabbit) "Vagarant" revolves around being on the road with no particular home to go to.
Born in Oban, Argyll, Mike has been based in Glasgow, but is about to do the "London" thing and move down south .. Good luck to the fella, it`s a tough place to get your foot in the door... but it will be interesting to see what kind of songs he writes once he`s moved to Hackney permanently and far away from home.
